Celebrating Christmas in July? We've got you covered with ham for your festive table. For the first time, we're offering a succulent ham from our long-time partners Sunshine Meats.


Our friends at Sunshine Meats smoke our hams using a 25-year-old family recipe inspired by the flavours of Europe. Double smoked over Beechwood for 12 hours, the succulent maple infused ham is the perfect addition to your Christmas in July table.


For over 30 years Sunshine Meats has been dedicated to sourcing the best quality Australian ingredients. With artisan methods and an innovative vision, Sunshine Meats want to share their philosophy that focuses on simple, good ingredients.


In 2014 Sunshine Meats snagged a win for best delicatessen and best overall local business in the Bankstown Business Awards. They then took out the award for the country’s best fresh food business at the 2015 Australian Small Business Championship Awards. From 2014 to 2016, the Australian Pork Corporation has crowned Sunshine Meats maker of Australia’s Best Artisan Ham.


From humble beginnings in 1988, and with a mere $500 in his pocket, founder and owner of Sunshine Meats, Jose Pereira, was given the opportunity of a lifetime: to purchase a small butcher shop in Redfern from his employer.

To differentiate their products from supermarket giants, Jose's wife Maria drew on her experience working in delis to introduce the likes of pasta, fresh bread, and cheeses to complement their fresh meat. Jose started to create smoked and oven roasted products, experimenting with flavours inspired by his home Madeira, Portugal.

Rising rental prices squeezed Sunshine Meats out of Redfern and over to Dulwich Hill. As popularity and demand for their smoked smallgoods increased, he moved to a factory in Marrickville and after a decade, Sunshine Meats outgrew its Marrickville factory, resulting in the construction of a purpose built factory in Milperra in 2011.
